Hi,

I thought of creating this blog mainly for Sri Lankans who love gardening, birds and butterflies.

I used to live in  Mt. Lavinia, and after many years I returned back to my home town of Malabe. Unfortunately most of the birds were not there, because a expressway was constructed in front of my house. People have filled lands and built houses, destroying the habitat of birds.

So I thought of attracting birds to my garden. I found no website with regard to Sri Lankan gardens. I had to get tips and names of plants from  U.S. or U.K. based websites.

So here I  am, enjoy!
